Hump Day!

Did you notice anything different?!

YES! I finally figured out how to convert back to the old blogger style and was able to do a little bit of design before Russ went cranky on me!

Anyways. It's humpday! Thankfully! Today we clear the house. Karl is there as we speak finishing up tiny cleaning and hopefully with housing already doing the final walkthrough. I just want to be done with this process. Everything else has been relatively easy but then the house clearing comes along and they want it exactly as it was when we moved in. Reasonable? Yes, however they are tearing apart and remodeling all of our community! So why do we need to replace things that they are already going to be replacing? Okay, whatever, so we have to abide so we are.
Russ and I are left at the hotel while Karl is off taking care of things. We've got soooo much to do here, NOT! Quite the view if you ask me... I could stare all day out these windows. Haha.

Alright, so I'll quit complaining. Last night the 3 of us went to Dave N Busters. We were sick of cleaning and being cooped up so we ventured into the city and ended up having a great time. Dinner was amazing, dessert, just as good and then we headed up to the 3rd floor and played games for a few hours! We ended with 1,135 tickets!!! We of course spent them and all on Russ. Lol what better way to spend your earnings ;) He got a new stuffed shark and a inflatable hammer. He immediately loved the shark and after bath time last night refused to go to bed because he wanted to walk around the hotel making high pitch screetch noises while holding that thing.
We all slept soundlessly except for the one time Russ woke up. He's been doing so good lately! The last two weeks with the exception of maybe one night, he has slept from about 8-3 then wakes up for a bottle and diaper change. For us, this is as good as it gets, he's always woken up every 2 hours or so to eat! His pediatrician told us that at 9 months he should have been sleeping without eating in the middle of the night but that was seriously the only way we could get him back to sleep when he was waking up that often. He wouldn't even need to drink the whole bottle, just a few suckles and he'd be out but the moment you take that bottle away, he was awake! At this point, we've given his binkie back in the middle of the night only. He wakes up and we pop that sucker in his mouth and he's out. It's been much easier to conquer the days with more sleep!

Tonight we are having one last get together with all of our friends. These days that's hard to tell here. There is so much back stabbing and brown nosing going on it's hard to be certain. Those who show I know are the true ones. We have been having trouble with giving to "friends" and then being kicked in the face. Or "friends" offering things and then ignoring you when you ask about that offer or just completely acting like snobby bitches. But, that's alright because we literally have 4 days left here until we are on a jet plane never to return to those faces.
We will gather at Chilis...Which I will never again in my life go too! That's the number 1 restaurant here that's reasonably priced and somewhat affordable. Unless you plan on paying over 20$ a plate at someplace like Ruby Tuesdays or more then that at Outback! And yeah, military is far from being rich so we dont' get those luxeries often ;) But we make do with what he have and are happy, money or no money in our pockets. Who cares as long as the bills are paid and there is food on the table?! Besides, we have all the fun we can need, our mini family.

In exactly one week at about 2-3am we will be heading out to Colorado! We will have had our 3 day fun at Disneyland and will be ready to get on with it and get into our house! I can't wait! It's been snowing lately there which hasn't been bad but I'm worried about our trek through Utah and the mountains in our little car. We are definitely talking about making a stop in LA to either try and trade the car in for an SUV or we will definitely be investing in snow chains. Gotta be safe. This 16 hour trip from Los Angeles to Colorado Springs will likely turn into a 36 hour drive. But we will see! Wish us luck!!!

That's all for today (: Have a good one!

My bugaboo today, very intrigued by the camera!

My latest craving (: Raspberry creams from See's
